  Beware the warranty, and extended warranty - not worth the paper it's written on. My expensive piece of furniture (£4,400) has developed holes in the faux leather cover after just 18 months of light use. I believe that holes have appeared due to incorrect assembly on delivery, causing the edge of the footrest to brush against the floor. I have been told that this damage falls under 'fair wear and tear' and is not covered by the warranty. Fair wear and tear! On a £4,400 piece of furniture? I have a £78 office chair which has been used daily, for hours, for over two years now, and it doesn't have any holes in its faux leather covering!!!! I am SO sick of companies that do not honor their warranties!
